FIXAPOUTRE suspension beams
Product description
The suspension beams counterweight (or spitter plate) FIXAPOUTRE are made of steel tubes that fit into each other in order to be able to adjust the distance between the supports and the overhang (front offset).
Suspension beams are very modular. They can be equipped with a guying system, the supports can be raised in order to be installed above obstacles such as a parapet or a ventilation duct.
FIXAPOUTRE suspension beams are intended to support and maintain the suspended platform in position. Depending on the model, they can be equipped with a translation trolley allowing the cable attachment points to be moved.
We offer 2 ranges of FIXAPOUTRE:
FIXAPOUTRE S
4 telescopic models (with or without guy) in galvanized steel for greater resistance to bad weather. The maximum load capacity is 800 kg.
FIXAPOUTRE raised Type 6 and Type 7
To allow the hanging of a suspended platform on a terrace cluttered with ventilation ducts or when the parapet is high, we have designed a raised beam offering the possibility of passing obstacles up to 2.80 meters and lifting heavier loads.

Only when both suspension beams are completely assembled can the platform be suspended from them.
Conversely, removing the counterweights will only be undertaken after unhooking the platform.
Implementation tips artwork
Check that the terrace is capable of supporting the loads and stresses that will result from the installation of the metal beams.
- If necessary, check with the project manager for admissible charges;
- The covering of terraces must always be protected using boards, planks or metal profiles;
- The counter-load must be carried out with FIXATOR counterweights. To know the value of the counterload, look at the label that is placed on the front and rear element;
- Adjust the center distance of the beams to that of the suspended platform stirrups;
- Only hang it when the metal beam is completely installed and correctly counter-loaded;
- It is essential, after assembly and before use, to test the installation in accordance with current regulations;
- Before use, check that the stay is tight;
- Regularly check the condition of the various elements;
- Only use original FIXATOR spare parts.
