Training

  FIXATOR attaches great importance to the training of its distributors and approved repairers. Initial training or additional training sessions intended for technicians and mechanics, responsible for maintenance or repairs on our equipment, are organized several times a year. A training session generally takes place over two days and can be carried out:
  • within our production site located near Angers (Maine et Loire – 49 – France);
  • within your business ;
  • directly On the worksite.
An approved repairer certificate is issued by us at the end of the training, only for the products which were discussed, used and mastered during the session. Our carefully selected network of partners, responsible for maintenance services on our lifting solutions, also offers training sessions. We reserve the right to provide or not provide mechanic training, or to renew an authorization if the quality of the latter does not correspond to our quality requirements. Our team is at your disposal for more information if necessary.

After-sales service & maintenance

  As part of annual maintenance and after-sales services, FIXATOR offers to carry out maintenance on winches, security systems and electrical boxes. In addition to our network of approved repairers, we have a technical department entirely dedicated to maintenance and after-sales service within our production site based in France, in Maine et Loire (49). For the maintenance of equipment fleets, we offer our customers annual contracts (packages) or services on demand. All maintenance operations carried out by us or by our approved repairers are carried out with original parts and tested on a test bench before being returned. The use of original spare parts guarantees maximum operating reliability.

Repair service

  FIXATOR implements all solutions to help its customers. After a precise diagnosis of the fault by telephone exchange, we appoint an after-sales service technician or an approved repairer to identify the origin of the malfunction. Our repair service ensures that these malfunctions are resolved quickly, to reduce downtime on site.

Assembly assistance

  FIXATOR offers technical support for handling the equipment. A qualified person from our team supports the site manager in implementing height access solutions or “tailor-made” designs, requiring specific technical advice on site. Technical assistance also makes it possible to jointly study the user manual and go through the various points of vigilance regarding the start-up of the equipment for maximum functionality and mandatory and necessary installation checks for carrying out the work in completely safe. Our service makes it possible for operators to have a good understanding and optimal use of our solutions.

Equip yourself safely

Check and test equipment every day

In addition to regulated security measures, carrying out a daily check of the suspended equipment by a trained person is essential. We recommend that our customers carry out a daily visual inspection of all elements that influence the operational safety of a platform, thus making it possible to detect possible deterioration, due to wear and/or vandalism, likely to create dangers in the workplace. The elements of the inspection sheet p.6 that we make available on our platforms (within the control box) must be observed before starting the work. You can also consult the inspection recommendations transcribed in our instruction manuals.

Periodic checks of suspended platforms

The periodic verification includes in particular an examination of the state of conservation and a dynamic test.

  • Motorized suspended platform : the obligation for periodic checks applies when the motorized platform has been installed for more than 6 months, without movement (shifting);
  • Manual suspended platform : the obligation for periodic checks applies when the manual platform has been installed for more than 3 months, without moving (shifting).
