C stirrup

Product description

The C stirrups are load-bearing stirrups that offer real alternatives in the use of suspended platforms. FIXATOR offers two models: the 350-500 bracket for the e.lift 350 and e.lift500 winches and the 800-1000 bracket for the e.lift800 and e.lift1000 winches.

Benefits Users

  • Lightweight and easily transportable: its light structure allows the ALU stirrup to be moved very easily. Its foldable leg reduces its bulk to a minimum for transport and storage;
  • Quick setup: its design reduces assembly and disassembly times. Only a 19 key is needed;
  • Easy to connect: a connector is provided on the bracket to connect the “high limit switch” to the winch. It is not necessary to remove the limit switch already in position on the winch. Saving time and optimal security;
  • Compatible with MODULAHO and MODULECO;
  • Available for 1 meter wide trays (contact us)
  • Easy and quick electrical connection of the upper limit switch. No need to dismantle the winch limit switch: time saving and optimal safety!

Use

C stirrup, for easier access in corners:

Usually, the winches are positioned at the end of the platforms suspended on the supporting brackets. This position prevents access to the end of the tray. To free the ends of the suspended platform, it is recommended to use the C stirrups.

13 meter MODULECO suspended platform with 350-500 C stirrups and e.lift500 winches.

C stirrup, for a longer suspended platform:
In European regulations, suspended platforms cannot exceed a total length of 12 meters. The use of C stirrups allows a length of up to 16 meters.
C stirrup, for adjustable angles:
Some buildings have angular facades or curves which prevent the use of a straight suspended platform. To access the facade, it is recommended to use adjustable angle sections that connect two platform elements. In this case, the use of C stirrups is mandatory to ensure good balance of the assembly.
C stirrup, for complex suspension points:
When the roof terrace of the building does not offer the possibility of positioning the suspension beams vertically of the suspended platform, the swan neck brackets allow the vertical to be shifted and the platform to be used in complete safety. suspended form.

C stirrup, for special creations: responding to very specific construction site needs.

The C stirrups can be adapted by our Design Office, such as the Rion-Antirion bridge site in Greece. The C stirrups are used in conjunction with a guiding system, so that the suspended platform remains in permanent contact with the inclined wall of the bridge pier.
