Lifting work at height outside wind turbines varies depending on the type of equipment being lifted and the lifting methods:

• Types of equipment lifted:
  • Wind turbine blade, rotor, hub.
  • Heavy components: transformers, generators, nacelles.
  • Tower structures or tubular segments during construction or renovation.
• Lifting methods offered by Fixator:
  • LM electric cable winches (90-500kg):
    • Used for hoisting components to intermediate heights or for maintenance.

• Current work:
  • Blade inspections, cleaning, or repairs.
  • External maintenance of the nacelle or tower.
  • Installation or replacement of equipment located outside the nacelle.
• Methods used:
  • Electric winches e.lift 350-600 kg for lifting people :
    • Equipment compliant with standards for the safe lifting of technicians (EN 1808, EN 341).
  • Man-riding baskets (1 operator) or V-shaped suspended platforms (multiple operators) adapting to the circular shape of the mast and allowing several operators to be accommodated.
