Product Description

The security blocks or load fall arresters Securichute allow you to secure your people lifting solution (platform, basket or saddle) in the event of breakage or failure of the working cable holding your lifting winch. Connected to a second cable, the safety cable, these are safety devices whose task is to retain the load and prevent it from being crushed on the ground.
Depending on your load lifting needs, Fixator offers 4 models

Fall arrest of loads (safety block) Sécurichute FIXATOR is triggered in the event of overspeed > 30m/min (0.5 m/sec), sudden acceleration and/or platform tilt > 14°.

Load capacities range from 600 to 2000 kg, including the different models offered: Securichute 600, Sécurichute 800, Sécurichute 1000 and Securichute 2T.

Each model in the Sécurichute range is compatible with one or more models in the range e.lift 350/501/601, e.lift 600/800/1000 NEO or Liftho 600/800/1000 NEO. Refer to the table below to verify the compatibility of each winch.

Use and Operation

Installing a Sécurichute can be done in several ways:

Sécurichute fall arrester installed on winch

Sécurichute fall arrest installed on swan neck

For the installation of Securichute 2T, contact us.

Special case of swan necks: the counterweight must not touch the neck of
swan during descent to avoid unwanted safety triggers
anti-tilt of Sécurichutes.

Fixator also offers the range of security blocks Securistop which are triggered in the event of platform inclination > 14° or lack of tension (cable slack) in the working cable.
