Overspeed and tilt detection

The “overspeed and tilt” trigger mode of SECURICHUTE safety blocks or fall arrest devices is used to monitor dynamic stability and operational safety:

• Speed :
  • This parameter monitors the descent or ascent speed of the platform.
  • If the speed exceeds a critical value (limit speed), this may indicate a problem such as overload, brake failure or motor malfunction.
  • The fall arrest system reacts by locking the device to prevent an uncontrolled descent.
• Tilting:
  • As in the first mode, the platform tilt is monitored to detect any deviation from the horizontal.
  • Exceeding the permitted angle immediately activates the safety system to prevent tipping or falling.
