Project background

As part of a maintenance operation at a nuclear site, our client WESTINGHOUSE France (a French subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company, a major global player in the field of nuclear energy) entrusted us with the design and production of a dual-function lifting solution. The objective: handling specific tools and providing access for personnel at the bottom of the nuclear pool (13 metres deep) in the reactor building to carry out renovation work, while guaranteeing a high level of safety and regulatory compliance.

Tailor-made solutions

The project was entirely designed by Fixator's Special Projects department, which is responsible for managing non-standard technical projects that are often complex, bespoke or subject to specific constraints, in order to deliver a tailor-made, turnkey solution.
